YouthShakers'08 : Dress Codes Reminder

Just a friendly reminder on your dress codes:

1. Dance Off Session ( 5 Dec )
Dress Code: Traffic Light
Please wear Red/Yellow/Green top.

2. Global Village ( 9 Dec )
Dress Code: Traditional Costume
Please wear any traditional costume you want from any country. The varied the better!

3. RACE ( 6 Dec )
Dress Code: Chic & Mod

You are very encouraged to dress up as fashionable as you want to, to celebrate AIESEC anniversary at the grand Putrajaya International Convention Centre.

Girls can wear evening dresses, retro, simple, whatever it takes to be creative, fashionable and chic enough! Something like this:
Guys, you all can wear anything you like as you think it makes you look macho, in style, and smart!

YouthShakers'08 : For Comfortable Conference Experience, You Should ...

Hey Shakers!

This is a brief update on what will be happening on MyLDS-YouthShakers'08.

The conference will start at 9am, 5th December and ends at 4pm,10th December

WHAT TO BRING then?

Both MyLDS and MNC delegate pls take note:

1. Clothing enough for 6 days 5 nights - you can wash if you want to.

2. Detergents - if you want to wash your clothes. No washing machine facilities provided.

3. Toiletries

4. Pillow + Bed sheets + Blanket. Pillow and bed sheets can be rented for RM15 (6 days usage) if you want to but you are more encouraged to bring yourselves. Rental can be done on the spot.

5. Personal Medications

6. Sport shoes, slippers etc.

7. Chic & Mod Attire - For RACE at PICC

8. Traditional Costumes from any country - For Global Village

9. Traffic Light dress code (Red/ Yellow/ Green Top) - For Dance-Off!

10. Water Bottle

11. Torch Light

12. CASH - you won't wanna miss out buying YouthShakers T- shirt and other LC's shirt !

13. A token of memory! :)

14. Stationeries

15. Anything else which you need.

Extra Note:

1. Please bring your bank in slip along.

2. For girls, please do not wear shorts above your knees while walking outside of the hostel.

3. For everyone, please dress decently during the conference. :)

4. Please take extra care of your own belongings.

YouthShakers'08 : RACE Is Coming To Town!

Apart from Global Village, another highlight will be none other than..... RACE !!

A combined celebration for AIESEC in Malaysia's in recognizing achievements of our alumni, as well as commemorates our 40 years of presence in this country. The 3celebrations are:

• AIESEC Malaysia Awards Night
• AIESEC in Malaysia's 40th Anniversary and the global celebration of AIESEC's 60th Anniversary
• Gala dinner of MyLDS 2008.

A series of awards will be given out to acknowledge the achievements of various titles, from Top Gun LC Award to Best Exchange Team and most importantly, the Alumni Hall of Fame.

Date: 6th December 2008

Time: 6.00pm -11.00pm

Theme of the night : Chic & Mod (?)

Venue: Perdana B, Banquet Hall, Putrajaya International Convention Centre

Global Village is an eagerly awaited event where students get to show their love for their cultures, promote cultural understanding through presentation and visit various country booths with food, music and traditional garments.

There are several reminders for all:

1. 1. Please prepare your country presentation as assigned.

2. 2. Please bring and wear traditional costume of any culture (ex: sari…cheong sam…kimono…)for GV

3. 3. Some money for use during booth visiting.

4. 4. Camera for photo shooting but it's totally at your own risk.

I'm currently having my finals and this is the only time I manage to steal out since I'll be sitting for the not-so-difficult Maths paper on Saturday.

Some of my "night ghost" pals usually call up Mc D to have their supper around 2 to 3 am and I tell you... It's nooo..... good.
